How can we change team admin with no access to the current team admin's account?

We have a standard 5tb account and have a no access as the creator/admin refuses to hand over the log in. We are being told that there would be an additional cost to ADD or CHANGE admin to our business managers email address. Is this BS?

Why wont the admin hand it over? Or surely its set up on company emails which the IT Team can take control of?

However, ultimately its a question that if needed only Support can answer. It is unlikely they'd change Admins easily, however, because if they did that anybody could just message and ask to change.

Then technically they own the account.

If they won't transfer admin to another user (which is easy and doesn't cost anything) then your only other option is to back up all of your data and create a new account that you're in control of.

Oh dear, that means that they own the account - as they paid for it (even if it was a company card). Apart from legal action against the person outside of Dropbox I think you may be stuck.
