How does Dropbox protect our files and which server are they stored on?

Hi,

I am writing to inquire about Dropbox safety and warranty. Is Dropbox safe for storing data?. Also I would like to know about Dropbox data breech warranty? 

Other than that, on which server is all the data stored.?
