I joined a Team account for work and all of my private folders got moved over, how can I leave?

How can I move my private folders back into a non work-related account?  My concern is that someone else controls the account and if it is deleted, I lose important information.

    Hi esandrof, thanks for messaging the Community!

     

    If you've joined a Dropbox Business team, then it isn't possible to leave the team by yourself. 

     

    You would need to request that the team admin convert your account back to a personal plan away from the team, in order to keep your account active.
