10 months agoI lost access to the email address that's linked to my Dropbox account and I need it to be deleted
I am writing to seek assistance with my account access issues.
In ticket number 24753768 last week, I stated:
I have lost access to my old email address which is linked to my Dropbox account.
As a result, I am unable to log in since each login attempt requires a verification code.
In ticket number 24753768, I communicated with customer support, answered and passed the security questions, and as a result, the verification code was temporarily suspended.
However, I have since discovered that my password is incorrect, and according to Dropbox's security policies, I am unable to change the password using security questions.
I need to mention that before answering the security question, your customer support never informed me that entering the wrong password would also trigger One Time Verification. I always assumed I was entering the correct password, which is why I proceeded to the second step of verification.
AND, I do not know that: answering the security question means disabling the verification code process.
I assuming it would be an email change or something, for such detailed questions.
But I have been told that there is no way to change email address even with passing the security check questions.
With the suspension of the verification code, the security of my account is now at a higher risk than before.
Therefore, I have two requests:
Immediately restore the verification process for my account in case of data leaking.
Arrange for the deletion of my account as mentioned in ticket number 24753768.
I have responded to numerous emails but have not received any effective replies. Please assist me in resolving these issues as soon as possible
