I requested SMS verification to access my account but received codes from different senders
I have exactly the same. I requested sms verification after multiple attempts using 2-factor authentication methods, failing (passkey and ubikey). I received two sms messages, first from DROPBOX, and several seconds later from +4478730XXXXX. The code was different. I have only used the code from DROPBOX but still unable to login. Is my account compromised? This happened on a different account then my account I am using right now.

Hey Robby W, thanks for reaching out to us.
I moved your post to a thread of its own, since the thread you originally posted in was a bit old.
Now, since this is a sensitive, security related issue, I would suggest reaching out to our support team directly.
You can do so, by opening a private browsing/incognito window and going to this page.
Let me know when you get your ticket number.
Thanks!

Hey again, Robby.
You can actually reach out to our support team, if you follow the steps I gave you, even with a free Dropbox account.
Just don't sign in to your Dropbox account and follow the steps; it should take you to a form you need to fill out, so let me know when you have your ticket number.

You need to visit that link while you're NOT signed in to a Dropbox account, including these forums, and you'll see an option for Billing issues. It's best to use an Incognito or Private browsing session to make sure you're not signed in.
