Is it possible to get my files back if my account is disabled due to inactivity?

is it possible to get files back if inactive? was curious since the moment I received info I was no longer able to access account ?

    Hey fflowers, thanks for joining the Dropbox Community.

    I'm afraid that if the account does get disabled due to inactivity, then the files and the account itself are not recoverable.

    You'll be able to create a new account with the same email address afterwards, but you won't be able to get your files back.
