My account disappeared after not logging in for months
I have not accessed my account in months, and then I tried to access the account over the summer and used my logging credentials and was told that there was no account under the email. I had thousands of photos from my work as a photographer and my travels, and they are now all gone. I had to create a new account. I have no way to contact support about what happened.

How long has it actually been since you've accessed the account. If the account was idle for more than a year then it would have been deleted due to inactivity.

If you truly used the account 6-7 months ago then the account would still exist. Dropbox doesn't delete an account until after a year of inactivity, and several emails warning that it's going to happen.
Are you sure you're signing in with the same email address that you used previously? Search your various email addresses for emails from Dropbox. See if there are any other accounts.
