Need assistance with a file access issue
For everyone using Dropbox, you should be concerned about the security issues that Dropbox is knowingly having. Strangers having access to your folders and files. Strangers getting invitations to share your folders and files. Losing your login access and ownership of your folders and files.
And perhaps worse of all, Dropbox Support not giving a f***. It's been 8 weeks since this happened. An entire history of files and folders for a non-profit that works with seniors who suffer from Alzheimers and other forms of dementia. After pushing us off so they could figure out what was going on, then getting back to us saying they don't have a solution, but the advanced technical team is working on it, they are now ghosting the issue. Not responding to any more contact for status on the problem.
This was a paid team account for many employees for a full year. Dropbox can't even be contacted for a refund. They don't give a f*** about the security situation. They'll probably wipe this call for help.
Is anyone else experiencing this issue?
How in the hell are you supposed to reach support if you need to have a Dropbox account in order to open a ticket? An account that you paid a year in advance to have for an entire team.
Not to mention we have files that contain the history of the company sitting out there inaccessible.
