No access to the email address to verify my account

My name is Julio Trostchansky, and my account is registered under the email address [removed per the Community's Guidelines]. Unfortunately, the server for that email domain has been shut down in my country, and I no longer have access to it, which prevents me from verifying my account or recovering access through standard methods.

This account contains important folders related to my professional medical activity, including photos and documents, as well as shared folders concerning thoracic surgery that are essential to my work.

I kindly request your assistance in recovering access to my Dropbox account or in retrieving these files. I can provide any additional information needed to verify my identity.

Thank you very much for your help and understanding.

i read all the article but I have been unable to resolve my issue. My account is registered under the email [removed per the Dropbox Community Guidelines], but I can no longer receive verification codes because that email server has been permanently shut down in my country.I urgently need to access important folders and professional information from my Dropbox account, which includes medical records and materials from my work as a physician, accumulated over many years. These files are essential to my practice and ongoing professional activity.

Its almost certain you cannot get access back to the data if you have lost access to the email I'm afraid. Dropbox have always been clear on that.

You can try and log a ticket via http://www.dropbox.com/support while not logged in - even here. You will find it easier to use an incognito window.

I'd suggest restoring from your backups instead as that will be quicker and easier - because its unlikely Dropbox will give account access back.

Until recently, I was able to access my account without any problems. However, unexpectedly, I began being asked for a two-step verification code sent to my email—despite never having set up this additional layer of security, precisely because I was aware I could lose access to that email. As a result, even though I still have my correct login credentials (email and password), I’m now unable to access my account.

Dropbox have always had this in place and randomly do it when connections are from a new location or to check on security.

It isnt two-factor authentication you set up, its part of Dropbox T&Cs for everybody that its in place.

Hey Juliot , have you tried resetting your password, to see if that bypasses the security code process?

If not, I'd suggest following Mark's suggestion above and submit a ticket to our support team; they'll be able to assist you directly.
