Should I worry about being banned for saving my Cyber Security notes in Dropbox?
Some explanation is definitely needed here. I have been working on gathering my notes for penetration testing and bug bounty hunting together in one place. I've been using VSCode and Dendron to organize my notes. I have been backing these notes up in Dropbox.
My concern comes in because one of my notes kept making Windows Defender mad because it has a PHP payload written down in it. It's in an .md file, but I'm worried Dropbox's scanners are going to pick that up and mark it as an offensive file and ban my account.
I'd really like to avoid that. I use the service for a lot of mission critical stuff, I'd like to avoid their wrath. If it's not okay then that's totally fine and I can store my notes elsewhere. I'd like to have that offsite backup though if I can.
Any help or insight would be appreciated.
Thank you
- Hannah
