Using other ways for two-step authentication
Recently, I could not access my account as I didn't have access to my previous mobile and laptops, and I could not receive messages on my mobile number. I want to mention that the team has made a great effort to resolve the issue, and they even sent me a direct code on my mobile number and asked me to provide the code through email. However, due to my mobile number problem, I could not receive messages from foreign countries. Therefore, I request that you end the call sent through WhatsApp (which was on the same number) or call me on the number, or I will call them on the same number. However, they could not do so due to Dropbox's policy. So, I suggest that Dropbox include other verification methods, as Gmail and other service providers use the same approach. This will make it easier.
Finally, I will give the team 5 stars for their efforts and response to the issue, which keeps my hope of getting my data high as they try various other ways to resolve the issue.
Salute to the team.

Hey abd ullah, thanks for reaching out to us and sorry to see that you had an issue accessing your account.
Would you mind clarifying or specifying which exact verification method you'd like our team to consider?
Just to make sure we have a solid and specific feature suggestion, I'd also recommend you take a look at Emma's tips for posting an idea.
Let me know what you come up with!

Hi abd ullah, did you see the reply from my colleague in relation to your suggestion?

Yes, I saw the reply, but sorry, I can not get to you soon. I want to mention that Dropbox should allow multiple authentication methods.
If a person is not able to get the code on the mobile number that is registered for two-step authentication, then a person should be provided with the following ways:
1. Provide a code on the same mobile number on WhatsApp.
2. Call the same mobile number and ask him/her to provide a specific code from the email on which the Dropbox account is registered.3. Company make a call on the number and when the person receive the call a specific code should be provided in the call, which can be entered online for authentication.

Why not use the backup recovery codes you had sent when setting it up?

Hey abd ullah, thanks for the additional info.
In order to make sure that your ideas get full visibility on the Community and to give them the best chance of being up-voted, it would be best if individual posts were created for each of them.
Again, make sure to check Emma's tips before posting them, this is really important.
Thanks!
