We can't get a security code via Google Groups email address
Good morning,
we are a group of musicians.
We use googlegroups for our email exchanges.
To share our music scores, we created (in 2014) a Dropbox account from our address xxxx@googlegroups (account identifier and email).
So we know our Dropbox username and password.
But now, Dropbox wants to send us a security code to our email address (xxxxxxxx@googlegroups.com) to reached our Dropbox account. Except that googlegroups does not allow you to receive automatic messages... That's the problem.
We tried to add the address no-reply@dropbox.com to the "members" of googegroups, but this is refused by Google (the argument is: "a group cannot be a member of a group").
So we cannot receive the security code and we no longer have access to our partitions.
Can someone help us?

To clarify, are you all using the same personal Dropbox account? If yes, keep in mind that this is against our Terms of Service and can potentially lead to the termination of the account.
Now, regarding the issue you mention, I’d suggesting reaching out to our support team. Here are the exact steps you’ll need to follow.
Send me your ticket number here afterwards and I’ll leave them an internal note for you, as well.
