September 2023: cannot find Vault in the Iphone App

September 2023: cannot find Vault in the Iphone App

I'm using the latest version and the layout of the Iphone app has completely changed. As such, I cannot find the vault folder. It's still accessible via the web version. I've read the posts here and it seems that Vault should be still available on mobile apps.

Can you help me find the Vault folder in the Iphone app?

Hi @michaelkareev, can you clarify the precise OS, and Dropbox version that you're using on your end?

If I were you, I'd also clear the app's cache -you can do this by accessing the Dropbox settings within the app- and then sign out, and back into the app.

Hi @michaelkareev, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Are you able to navigate to the Files tab in the iOS mobile app to see if the Vault appears as a folder there?

This will help me to assist further!

Jay,

Under "Files" there are "Upload", "Folder", "Scan"

and then a list of the files. No Vault, though.

Sorry, it was too early.

I do have access to Vault now. I tried uploading a few photos but only one got uploaded. All others got stuck in the "Preparing to upload" state. I removed them from the upload state, tried uploading only one (just 1Mb) but it's still showing the same message.

App version is 344.2.4

iOS version is 16.3.1

Hi @michaelkareev, did you try to upload them using your camera uploads, or using the + sign and manually uploading them?

Can you try to close the app, restart your mobile, and then open the app again?

I was doing the latter.

Anyway, restarting the phone, logging out and in helped, and now I can upload everything like in the past.

Resolved, too.
