How can I complete the "Getting Started" task?

How can I complete the "Getting Started" task?

Hello. Tell me please.
How can I finish this quest? Maybe I deleted guide files?
I see: Getting Started -> Completed 4 out of 7 steps -> Not finished.
How can I do next steps?

And please note that you can earn more free space with Dropbox referrals; 500 MB for any friend, family member, or colleague you refer. In total, you can earn up to 16 GB in extra cloud storage

Hi, You should complete at least five items on the checklist complete at least five items from next steps to get the 250 MB bonus space

  • Adding files or folders to your Dropbox folder
  • Completing the Dropbox tour
  • Downloading and installing the desktop app
  • Installing Dropbox on a mobile device
  • Installing Dropbox on any other computers you may use
  • Inviting friends to join Dropbox (they don’t have to accept to complete this step)
  • Sharing a folder or file with friends or colleagues

So you need to complete one additional step to get the space

Hello, I have a friend to whom I sent a referral, a bit more than one year ago. She finished all those steps recently but I did not receive any space and in my personal account it just shows - invitation sent like in the picture below. How can this be fixed? Thank you

Hi @MariusA, did they directly click your referral link when signing up to Dropbox?

Did they receive any referral quota on their end, aside from the Getting Started quota?

Hello, yes she clicked directly on the link, she started to complete the steps last year, but only finished them recently (she confirmed to me two weeks ago). She delivered the second baby so she was a bit busy last year. I suspect we have this issue because she did not finish the steps right away

Thanks, it's likely that because the referral completion was delayed, this prevented it from being seen as completed, since the site only shows it as an invite, meaning it was on the first stage and they hadn't yet created the account.

OK, so how can we unblock this situation? Thank you in advance

As the other user's account has already been created, it wouldn't be possible to 'reactivate' the old referral link in order to grant the quota, unfortunately.
