View, download, and export

Part of the round-tripping proofing process of the Adobe Creative Cloud infrastructure between Adobe InDesign and Adobe Acrobat is the ability for Adobe InDesign to interpret markups from a PDF. See here for how it works: https://helpx.adobe.com/au/indesign/using/import-pdf-comments.html
However, Dropbox's ability to mark up a PDF with annotations within its own infrastructure throws a spanner into this round-tripping proofing process as the markups made using the dropbox site don't appear to be saved into the PDF. This means to take in the changes marked up via dropbox's markups, one has to either alt-tab between both Adobe Acrobat/InDesign to take in the alterations; or have each application open on a separate screen. This can also introduce operator error as the markups may not be taken in accurately.
My suggestion is to be able to either:
* save the annotations into the PDF so that when the PDF is viewed natively in Adobe Acrobat OR comments are imported into Adobe InDesign, that the dropbox made comments are now visible; or
* save the annotations using Acrobat's FDF format - https://www.iso.org/standard/74272.html
