where are my photos on dropbox?

where are my photos on dropbox?

I used to upload photos to Dropbox to then put on Instagram. I put some up which I wanted to use, but on Dropbox there are no pictures since August 2022.

I posted about a week ago, so what's happened? The most recent photos used to come up, but it now seems impossible to find them - or they've disappeared.

Is it possible to even change the what Mac or Adobe would call 'Sort' function - ie where you can sort according to filename/date created/date uploaded?

I just went on the Dropbox site with my laptop and on photos, May2023 came up, disappeared and August 2022 then came up. Where are my years' worth of pictures gone?!

Very frustrating...

Any good suggestions, welcome! Thanks, in advance.

A quick Update. I have been checking through my laptop - MacBook Pro - M1 2021, and having updated the software the 'Full Disk Access' had disappeared. I added it (Apple - system settings- Privacy and Security - Full Disk Access then clicked + at the bottom of the page, and added Dropbox).

That seemed to bring it back and the icon in the sidebar on the Finder now appeared - it was just a folder, but now had the Pringle jumper diamonds on it, like before. However, the top pictures were still August 2022. Diving into the folders some new pictures were in a folder first set up in 2018, but not easy to find.

How can I get Dropbox to show the latest pictures uploaded to it rather than what I have looked at (when trying to find the latest stuff) which I don't want to look at again!?

Hey @Harwick, thanks for reaching out to our Community.

You mentioned that when you accessed your account from the Dropbox site, a folder you wanted appeared and then disappeared? Can you please clarify that?

If you go to your events page, do you see any events related to those files?

Let me know what you find.
