Can I send a link that'll open up to a local file instead of the website?
Hi all
Is there a way to send a local link to a Dropbox file? My wife and I use the same Dropbox account to share files. If I want to call her attention to a file, I can send a regular Dropbox link, but it'll open up a browser and show her the file at dropbox.com, when I know full well the file is available to her on her local Dropbox folder.
It would just save me saying "hey there's a file in dropbox, it's in the X folder, subfolder Y, it's called blah blah".
Both using Macs.
thanks!
