Desktop app shows I'm over quota, but I'm not
Hello, I've been tidying up my Dropbox account as I was over quota. I cleared out enough to meet my quota, as the web app confirms upon refresh:
However my desktop apps (I have multiple) all still show I'm over quota, even after restarting them:
It has been over half an hour since I fixed this.

Hey there dylanroscover, let's jump right into this!
As a first step, have you tried signing out of the app, then back in? If so, have you also restarted the device?
Also, is it possible that the app is syncing content at the moment? Can you clarify its syncing status?
Let me know more, and we'll take it from there!

Hi Megan!
Is what I'm experiencing expected behavior from the Desktop app? I.e. a user must sign out and sign back in whenever they go over their quota increase? This is happening for me on all 3 of my Desktop apps right now, not just one.
I have 20TB of files. Signing out and signing back in is non-viable, I need to sync files for clients right now. I don't have time to wait for weeks to re-sync. I also cannot restart any of these devices, I am doing multi-day file transfers as a result of this new Dropbox quota requirement.
If the web app knows my storage usage, then surely the Desktop app has the same information on hand, no?
Regarding syncing: even if I pause syncing, the status is still, "over quota."- dylanroscoverHelpful | Level 5
I tried on the third machine logging out and logging back in and it still shows as "Using 22.9TB of 20TB of storage".
