Solved

usege reported incorrectly

Dropbox is reporting that I've used 42.71GB of space and requesting that I upgrade for more storage, I have everything synced to my PC and Windows reports that I've used only 1.48GB. How do I get Dropbox to report the correct amount of usage?

You backups should be visible on this page, which will also give you the options to manage or delete backups.

Hi lincsat, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Is it possible you have any shared folders or backups taking up quota on your account?

Can you check the breakdown of your quota according to this page?

This will help me to assist further!

It's showing the majority as "Backup" but don't see any folders with backups

I think I see what's happened, I installed dropbox on a new laptop and it decided to backup files on it's external SD Card even though I hadn't selected it. I have now deselected and deleted it and it seems to now be correctly reporting the data stored.

    Thanks for your help
