Desktop app installation on Windows 10 failed to start

Using Windows 10 in boot camp, trying to reinstall the desktop app but keep getting the installer failed to start message.  I went through and found various instances of dropbox still showing which seems that the uninstall did not complete properly.  Is there a cleaner tool that can ran to reinstall the app again?

Hi PhilR, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Are you referring to previous files in the Dropbox installation folder for different client versions of the app?

If you're not on a Dropbox Basic plan with more than 3 devices connected, could you try an advanced reinstall of the app using the steps in this link?

Keep me updated with any progress!
