I recently changed plans to a free plan and accidentally deleted my subscription. As a result, all my photos and family documents appear to be lost.Is there a way of resurrecting a subscription and recovering my data
Hi @Rodney-R, and welcome to our forum.
In general, cancelling a Dropbox subscription wouldn’t affect the files you have stored on your account.
Do you mean that you deleted your Dropbox account perhaps? If yes, then I’m afraid it’s not possible to restore it or the files saved on it, as they have also been purged from our servers.
I hope this clarifies things.

Hi Nancy
Thank you for your response - really appreciated as it is impossible to get help from anyone & the BOT is useless in this area.
I cancelled on Saturday and spent the next 2 days trying to contact Dropbox. Anyway... I think I actually deleted my account.
Thank G-d for Google queries!
Hi @Rodney-R, would it be possible that you have two Dropbox accounts?
If you deleted the account, then I am afraid there's no way to actually get your content back.
