How do I delete all Dropbox accounts, folders, etc.
I have been experimenting with Dropbox for about 3 weeks now, and I am making very little progress at understanding how it works and what it does. I have engaged in a few chats with sales people, who read my messages about what I would like to use the product for, and they enthusiastically assure me that it can do that (it's really pretty basic). But when it comes time to trying what they say I can do, I get very unexpected results that leave me very reluctant to trust any important data to this system. I'm sure the problems are all operator (my) error, but I can't seem to get enough info to sort out the mysterious behavior. Part of the problem may be numerous erroneous attempts to get things set up to support a couple of computers and one Android phone, so I would like to purge ALL my devices of any of the experimental apps, folders, files, etc. related to Dropbox and start over very slowly and carefully putting the configuration back together. If I can't make it work after a few more days of trying, the directions for purging everything related to Dropbox will come in handy as I will then try an alternative solution.

Hi jwood23, let's jump right into this!
If I understand your need, that is to delete any content uploaded in your Dropbox account, is that right? If not, feel free to correct me here.
Do you use our desktop app on your devices? Provided that you do, you can save any content you need locally to the device, and then delete the contents of your Dropbox folder while the app is still running.
That'll effectively delete any files and folders that you have in your Dropbox account.
