Hi gary011, I hope you're doing well!
Is there a chance that you logged into the wrong Dropbox account, or that you accidentally created a new account?
What do you see when visiting your events page? The Events page at www.dropbox.com/events gives you an overview of all activity in your account including files events (adds/edits/deletes).
Keep me posted!

Hi
Thanks for your reply. im pretty sure its correct as i only have one email address. it did originate as an old email address from my previous job that i no longer have access to but i have had access to the account since then. When i log in now the ccount just shows that i have used 0% of it which is odd as it was 100% full! It says i have no events! Do you want my original email address that the account was set up with years ago?

Hi gary011, if you see no events or used space, I'm suspecting that it's most likely a new account.
Could you log out of the account, and try with your previous email address -even if you don't have access to the email itself- to see if you can find anything there?

Hi gary011, 2FA is linked to either your mobile number, or a relevant app.
So, I'm assuming you're referring to the 6-digit-security-code sent via email, which you'd need access to the email itself indeed, in order to get the number.
If you don't have access to the email, your best option to get into the account would be to contact the email provider and see if the email address can be reactivated. Or check for any active devices, to see if you can get your files from there, and then create a new account.
