How can I force Dropbox to re-upload all my phone photos?
Device
iPhone 15
Dropbox App Version (if using the app)
442.22
Syncing Status
"Up to date"
Question or Issue
I discovered today (when I happened to look in the "Camera uploads" settings) that I can upload Live Photos from my iPhone to Dropbox as Live Photos. Unfortunately, that setting had defaulted to "Still Photo", so all my photos until now have uploaded as stills, even if they're Live Photos on my phone. I've just changed the setting to "Live Photo" and a new Live Photo I just took has successfully uploaded to Dropbox and I can see it and play it on dropbox.com.
I would like to reupload all my Live Photos from my iPhone to Dropbox but I can't work out how to force Dropbox to do that (it thinks I've already uploaded those photos and doesn't spot them when scanning). I can't export the Live Photos as a single photo (exporting originals from Mac Photos separates the file into the two separate .heic/.jpg and .mov files; adding those to Dropbox manually just adds them as separate files, which I don't really want).
This post (https://www.dropboxforum.com/discussions/101001014/how-to-reset-my-camera-uploads-i-tried-everything/629512) from three years ago suggests that dropbox support needs to do something to my account to enable Dropbox to re-upload photos from a phone, is that still the case? And how would I request that, please?

No problem, Laura! Send us your ticket number as well, if you have the time!

Ah, thank you, both. I'm on the Plus plan. I couldn't find where to raise the ticket. I've done it now though. Thanks

Hey Laura45, thanks for your post.
Like Rich mentioned, our support team can in fact reset your Camera Uploads, just let us know if you're on a Basic plan and cannot open a support ticket on your end.

There is no option within Dropbox for that. Basically, you can't do it yourself.

Yes. You need to contact Dropbox Support and request that they reset your Camera Uploads. You can contact Support through the Support page.
If you're on a Basic account and don't have an option to contact Support, you can ping (@ mention) one of the Dropboxers here in the forums and they can open a ticket for you.
