I deleted all my files, but I'm still out of space.

Hi there!

I am sorry to bother you maybe this topic has already been covered.

My question is , since I have deleted all my files (permanent delete) from my Dropbox account , why does Dropbox still demands from me to upgrade?

Thank you

Hey Androniki Skoula, thanks for posting here today!

Keep in mind that files in your deleted items do not take up space in your account. Deleting them permanently will have no affect on your available space.

With that being said, a common issue that happens in cases like these are either shared folders that are taking up space on your account or some some active Backup.

Can you check your account's plan page, and let me know what it reports?

Keep me posted, and we'll take it from there!
