Downgraded from File Provider and all files show 0 bytes

I was asked to upgrade to the File Provider version after rebooting, so I just followed the steps and clicked accordingly. I found that indexing took hours, but since I needed to work, I signed out and back in to downgrade from File Provider as mentioned in the FAQ.

After downgrading, I found that all file paths existed, but all files were 0 bytes!! I can view a file after clicking and opening it, but it’s not possible for me to open all files manually just to sync them on my Mac…

All the files are marked as ‘Available Offline.’ It seems to be a syncing issue, but the Dropbox status shows that all files are up to date but all 0 bytes.    Please help me...

Hey there a600tw - sorry to hear you're having issues with this.,

Can you please clarify the current status and version of the Dropbox desktop app as shown in your menu bar at the moment?

Also, what is your computer's exact OS version and the online-only files preference in your account's settings page? Have you tried setting your files to be online-only and/or available offline and vice-versa since you first noticed this?

Let us know more and we'll take it from there.
