How to notify Dropbox when a user has died?
Hello, I need help! My spouse, who passed away, used Dropbox and I have his log info. When I logged in today, the account was empty - no files whatsoever. This is not an issue with payment, because I just saw the monthly charge on my credit card (but I don't know where to see the receipt for payment on Dropbox). So 3 questions: 1) Why would all the files be missing and is there anyway to retrieve? 2) Where can I see the receipt for payment of tris account? And 3), how do I close the account once I know if anything is still in it? I tried to communicate with the Chatbot and it told me the info it needs for me to review and/or close the account of a deceased person. But the link it provides in the chat takes me to a page where the options are "Chatbot" or "Community." I.e., there is nowhere where I can upload information. I really appreciate any help anyone can offer. Dropbox has always mystified me so the clearer the info, the better. Thank you.

Hi eferrer
Sorry to hear about your loss 😞
For the account you've logged in to have you looked at www.dropbox.com/events to see what is going on? Its almost certain he had a different account with the info on to what you see if you are getting an empty account.
In terms of moving on also please see: https://help.dropbox.com/account-settings/access-account-of-someone-who-passed-away
