Hi all,

When one provides a shared link to a file or folder from DROPBOX (free version), I can the permissions be set to have shared links so they can view that file only, and not download the file ?

Hi @CJT1963! Hope you’re doing great.

Shared link permissions (like disabling downloads) can currently be set only if you’re on certain types of paid subscriptions (for more info, please check this page).

Let me know if you need something else, though.

That's disappointing, in the meantime, I tested the free GOOGLE DRIVE & this does allow this function, but not very intuitive in the settings & it seems this can only be done on files, not folders, but at least it can be done. 🙂
