I installed Dropbox on my MAC. My iPhone and iPad require me to login. MAC does not require login. What do I need to do so that signing in on MAC is required. Thanks!

Hey @Bwilly329 , welcome to our Community!

Indeed, once you sign in to the Dropbox desktop application, it keeps you signed in.

This is how the desktop app works and there's no way to make it require a sign in.

You could sign out of the app, but the files will still remain on the computer.

A workaround would be to use our selective sync feature, which will help you remove entire folders off your Dropbox folder, in case someone else is accessing the computer.

However, anyone with access to the Dropbox preferences, can still add the folders back, if they know how.

I hope this clarifies the situation, but let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks Hannah! Seems like a gross security issue.
