Issues with Dropbox syncing to iOS and Mac

So I'm new to Dropbox and use it with my iPhone and Mac. First issue is even though I gave the iOS app full access it will not sync my Apple photos. If I were to take a new photo now then that will be synced but nothing in the past will sync.

Second is, I have it synced to a few folders on my MacBook but nowhere in the app or on the desktop site can I see these Mac folders. Where should they be showing up?

I have deleted and re downloaded the app with no luck.

Maybe someone can help me.

Thanks.

Hey @tj84, thanks for posting here!

In regards to your first issue, I believe you're talking about your camera uploads, right? If so, have you tried disabling and then re-enabling the feature?

As for the second thing here: is your Backup enabled, by any chance? If you search for the folders' name through your Finder or the website, are you able to see anything there?

Let me know more, and we'll take it from there!

Hi Megan thanks for trying to help. Yes talking about camera uploads. I have disabled and re-enabled, deleted and re-added app.

As for Mac back ups yes it is enabled. I just can't see it anywhere within Dropbox apps or even on the desktop site.

Hey @tj84, is this the first time you're enabling camera uploads on this device?

Can you clarify your OS, along with the Dropbox version you're using on your end?

If I were you, I'd also clear the app's cache too. Also, out of curiosity, what happens if you click "New Photos only"?

As for Dropbox Backup: do you see yours as enabled when visiting your Backup Page online?

Using Mac OS and iOS on iPhone.

I did not clear cache but I did offload the app and downloaded it again with non luck.

I did have it working int he beginning but I had an issue where deleting photos from either end (dropbox or apple photos) would not sync the delete. So I had to re download the app. Since then not working.

It says here Mac is backed up : NSVEvy1

As for dropbox versions, whatever the newest ones are.

tapping "new photos only" does nothing different.

Would you mind clarifying the specific OS version that you can check when visiting your mobile's settings @tj84?

In any case, I can send you an email in order for us to reset your camera uploads, if you wish.

As for your Backup, if you search for some example files/folders locally or online, are you able to locate them?
