Upgrade to Dropbox on Linuxmint MATE desktop killed Bluetooth

I followed the instructions re ' To install Ayatana Indicators for Linux Mint (MATE)' and also 'To install LibAppIndicator on Linux' and everything seemed OK. Later I tried to use Bluetooth but found that it had been uninstalled. An attempt to re-install Bluetooth (blueman)  indicated that such action would remove libappindicator-gtk3!

* To be removed
libappindicator3-1
* To be installed
gir1.2-ayatanaappindicator3-0.1
libayatana-appindicator3-1
pulseaudio-module-bluetooth

It sees that I can have bluetooth or Dropbox but not both. That seems wrong to me. Is there some sort of fix for this?

    Hey there, jeff_15, thanks for posting here today!

    Do you get any error messages when trying to reinstall the Bluetooth? If so, would you be able to send me a screenshot, in order for me to have a visual?

    Also, if you temporarily pause our app and then try to install the bluetooth does that work?

    Keep me posted, and we'll take it from there!

    The error message I get when reinstalling blueman is the same as in my original post:

    To be removed
    libappindicator3-1
    * To be installed
    gir1.2-ayatanaappindicator3-0.1
    libayatana-appindicator3-1
    pulseaudio-module-bluetooth

    (I do't know how to add a screenshot to this post.)

    (a) I installed bluetooth and it works.

    (b) Dropbox works but does not appear on the panel.

    (c) Boot-up to login screen has blown out to > 1 minute

    (d) Login to Desktop screen has blown out from 1 sec to 12 sec.

    Hey jeff_15, thanks for the heads up!

    So, it seems the bluetooth issue is now resolved, right?

    Now, as for the Dropbox icon, would you mind following this link for a quick reinstall?

    Have you also tried restarting your device?

    Thanks, Megan.

    I uninstalled bluetooth - I really can live without it :-) But I'm aware that others may not.

    Next I uninstalled Dropbox.

    Then I rebooted and installed Dropbox - I can't live without it :-) and rebooted.

    Dropbox icon appears on the panel complete with menu.

    And it works :-) Saved a file in my computer Dropbox folder and viewed the file on my phone Dropbox app.

    The previously mentioned excessive boot-up time seems to have self-medicated and is now its customary few seconds.

    I'm happy :-)

    Living without Bluetooth is my solution to the problem but the problem will no doubt still exist for other users. A better/universal/permanent  solution is still needed.
