I can't remember my password, or login info in order to access the paid account.

I have recently been charged for my annul subscription, but can't remember my email or password to login, and having tried various email addresses, it appears I no longer have access to some of these accounts, which may or may not be associated to the Dropbox account.  I am stuck, help!

Hey there, frasert, let's jump right into this!

Do you wish help accessing the account, or cancelling the plan altogether?

Can you please check your bank statement for me, and let me know if the charges are directly linked to Dropbox or Google Play/iTunes?

If the former, you can go here and insert your statement’s transaction ID in the given field. It’ll show you which email address the charge is coming from, and then you can try to reset the password, in order to gain access.

Provided that you need help cancelling the plan, can you try to contact Dropbox Support directly for this?

If you open an incognito or private window, where you aren't logged into any Dropbox account, you can submit a ticket via this support page.

Once you've sent your request, feel free to send me the ticket number, in order for me to locate it on my end. Having said all that, if you come across an issue, I'll be more than happy to reach out to you instead.

    Let me know more!

    Hi Megan

Thanks for your reply.  Unfortunately, I am no further forward, I still don't know which email address is associated to the account and when I go to the link you provided to enter the statement transaction from my bank account, the numbers don't match up, nowhere on my bank statement is there an alpha numeric 12 digit code, like the one your page tells me to look for.

    Help!!!!

Hi frasert, if you don't have the transaction ID, you should still be able to submit a support ticket from an incognito window with your card information.

This way, the support team will be able to locate your Dropbox account and assist you further.

I did that, pressed submit, but nothing happens, no confirmation, nothing, no email received to confirm it went through, no support ticket number, nothing, getting very frustrated.

Hey frasert - thanks for letting us know about this.

I've just followed up via email so that we can have a better look internally at this point.

Whenever you get the chance, take a glance at your inbox and we'll take it from there.
