Fields should be single-line unless otherwise checked off as multi-line

I am having trouble with my text stacking on top of other pre-existing text because the entered field gets pasted as a multi-line version. My contracts are not looking the best because of this. I'd like the option to turn a form field into a multi-line if needed, but not be the standard.

    Just to make sure we're on the same page, can you send us a screenshot of what's troubling you?

    Also, are you referring to Dropbox Sign, by any chance, or are you editing a PDF file on the web perhaps? 

    Any additional information is more than welcome!
