Solved

Why have I gone over-quota, when there are no files saved on my Dropbox account?

Dropbox says I'm over my storage limit, but I don't have (or at least I don't see) any files in my account

Thanks for posting on our Community, wbmcgehee777

Have you also checked your Backups page online and there are no files stored there either?

If there are, you can delete them this way.

Let me know what you find.
