Dropbox prevents third-party applications from storing credentials

I use the calendar app Pimlical on my Android (11) smartphone. Unfortunately the synchronization doesn't work anymore, because Dropbox seems to disable the automatic login of an app [Removed as per Community Guidelines] This is very annoying, because with this an automatic and regular backup to Dropbox is not possible. Instead, a number of steps have to be taken for each backup, including manual sign-in.
Do I need to look for a backup platform other than Dropbox, or can someone here point out a solution?

Hi Gnaa, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Could you clarify exactly how this is affecting the login for that app in particular?

Is it connected to the Dropbox service within that app?

Any other info or screenshots would be helpful!
